I thought some of you might enjoy this topic. These are some stats from my previous car which was a 2000 Camaro with fairly stout,
modified LS1 engine. The accelerometer is a G-Tech Pro RR which is a 3-axis model. It has a drag strip mode, and Road Race mode.
The accelerometer was calibrated to within a tenth of the track beams at the drag strip. I had the car weighed to get a fairly accurate
horsepower reading (NET) from the G-Tech as well. Check out the comparison between the time slips, and dyno numbers. It's pretty
impressive!
I'm looking forward to getting the 0-60, skid-pad, braking, slalom data for the GTM once it's all tuned up. I'll be aiming for a 4.0 second,
or better 0-60 MPH, and 1.0 for skid pad.
Benchmark Dyno data: LS1 engine with intake, heads, cam, exhaust, tune. 437 HP @ 6300 RPM, 414 lbs*ft @ 4800 RPM.
Drag strip data: radial street tires, 3620 lbs w/driver, manual transmission.

G-Tech Net HP shows approximately 420 HP, however that accounts for
rolling resistance, wind resistance, etc.
Max. forward acceleration g = 0.73
Avg. shift time 300 msec.
Quarter mile 12.51 seconds (time slip shows 12.566!) at near top of 4th gear (gearing, or tire size not quite perfect).

within 700 msecs of 2nd gear shift.
