Talking with the DMV 7:30 tomorrow morning. Anything I should be worried about? The kit I ordered is going to be used on the street, breakfast, lunch, dinner outings, no racing. Just thinking of emission standards in NY. Simple old school carb motor. Any thoughts would be very helpful. I didn't order the bumpers. If I need them for registration they will be up for sale soon.

You'll need bumpers to pass in NY, what engine block are you using, as your emissions will be tied to the year of the block (several states have adopted this regulation recently). You'll need wipers as well in NY. As for the rest, the more details you have on your build, the better we can respond.

I plan on using the 302/347 carb engine. I just talked to them. They mentioned back up lights. I don't see that as an option.

Do the Mini Backup Light Mod. Real simple and inexpensive.
