So the inaugural NASA Northwest season has come to a close, I ran 11 races (finished 11 also) in the FFR class and won every time (not hard to do, I was only spec legal FFR). So I gather I'm the inaugural NASA NW FFR regional champion by default. I think NASA had a good season up here, events went smooth, had a blast at each race, did not attend all races as there is one track I will not go to. Andy did a great job, he always took in the input we gave him. He went out of his way at each event to make sure things went OK and that you got what you needed. Karen was always there, making sure the HPDE and TT folks were having fun and learning. My daughter had a blast running TT also this year. The Saturday night BBQ and keg-o-beer were great, we had some great beer delivery folks. I expect these events will be more crowded next year as word gets out and NASA NW eliminates some of the tracks and adds others. So my hats off to Andy and Karen for a great and successful year as all their efforts in the NW paid off. Looking for some off season NASA fun and looking forward to next season.
