Can one of the very smart computer geeks on this forum talk me through getting my Win7 and WinXP SP3 computers to talk to each other? They all access the network just fine to get internet access, either wired or wireless, but I can't get them to show up so I can do backups and file swapping.

Go into your network settings Joe and set them all to the same workgroup. I haven't done this yet with our Win7 machines on the WinXP network but it should work. Frank
