Hello, I'm Razz from Santee, CA (Sandy Eggo county)

I stumbled across the 818 while looking at something else and became very intrigued. I have made the decision to go forward with one of these builds.

It looks like fun and now that I've seen some tall guys have solved those issues (I'm 6ft 2in and not as flexible as I used to be).

I haven't gotten on the waiting list yet, just made the mental commitment and started to look for a donor.

Hey there Razz, welcome to the fold. I have a cousin that used to live in "Clantee" LOL. I'm ordering an 818s in Jan-Feb hopefully the turnaround time will be less than the year it is now. I'm also looking for a donor, hope we don't go after the same car. LOL

Welcome to the forum. There are a lot of builders in the San Diego area and even more a little North from there.

Welcome... my kit's due this weekend, and hopefully Stewart will have it to me by the end of the month. I'll be building in San Marcos.

Welcome to the madness.

I'd love to help with your build (I haven't had my hands on an un-assembled kit in a couple of years.) Let me know if you ever need help.

Lee,

Let me know the where and when.....We built our Roadster. I've helped on several others, a Coupe or 2 and 1 '33. Unless you really want to buy them, I have tubing benders and flaring kits as well as an assortment of other tools.

Awesome... I've added larger sockets and wrenches to my tool kit, but if it would be great to avoid having to purchase specialty kit.

Thanks, and I'll let you know the eta when Stewart has it.
