Hi there, I'm new to this site. I've been looking for info on registering my Cobra in California after it has already been titled and registered in Arkansas. I have looked at all the threads and they all pertain to a new builds and SB100. Do I have to wait till January to get a permit so I won't need a smog? I have all the build paperwork and the car already has a vin number. Any ideas would be appreciated

Regards

Bernie

Bernie,

Go through the SB100 and get it properly titled in California. There are still numbers available as of last month.

Check with your local DMV about the process to use (or send RAY a private message). I do not know if a vehicle that had been legally registered in another state has to go through the SB100 process. If you do need to go that route, there are still a LOT of numbers left as the economic struggles has really slowed down the demand in California.
