FFR on NCIS Los Angles last night

Did anyone else catch the Silver Factory Five roadster on NCIS: Los Angeles last night. First scene with the car you can see the old style logo on the steering hub, then a bit later they roll the car out and there are the external truck hinges... they pass it off as a real Shelby Cobra.

Looks like they substituted a Superformance for the FFR for the on-track stuff (except for the in-car shots) after they put a rod through the side of the FFR. There's a thread started by the FFR owner over at ffcars.com.

I'm also glad I didn't watch the entire episode to see the car... from that clip it's pretty bad.

I wanted to watch to see it, but made it about 5 minutes into the show when I realized why I spend most of my free time out in the garage. It started with a Ferrari basiclly being ourrun by a couple Dodge cop cars... OK, good enough... CLICK!
