For those of you who have installed the glass hatch, I am wondering what rubber trim you used for the opening.

I installed mine today using the FFR supplied V shaped trim but I think I can do better....the fit just isn't what I want. The glass fits nicely in the opening but the trim seems too thick...

Any suggestions?

I tried using the FFR supplied seal but it seems too bulky a do can't get the glass to sit in the groove.

So....I used Bill's suggestion (loeffler1) and used Steele Rubber Products Part #83-0139-73 for the rear glass seal. I tried a few ways of installing it and in the end I was most happy with the sticky tape on the bottom. Even though the body was built up a bit on the passenger side glass edge, there still seems to be a slight bowing of the glass relative to the body in this location. I put a D rubber seal in the trim's V groove to bulk it up a little on that side.

Thanks Bill.

Marc, Are you using the supplied lift struts or? I had same problem and when I used a race/hood hinges vs the strut the window settled in perfect sans bow.

Thanks.

I have it fitting quite well now. Yes I used the stock struts with the glass hatch.

Where did you get those?
