I am not new to FFR and once upon a time had ordered the Type 65, but due to a Mil PCS move, that did not work out and the fine folks at FFR refunded my money without any hassle. Fast forward 8 years to 2011...
After buying a 98 Cobra convertible last year, I am hooked on the open air ride and decided on the Roadster instead of the Coupe. My question to all you FFR Gearheads that are 6'2" and 200 lbs is this....do you fit? and those that bought the Vintage low back seat option, did it make a difference?
I'll be placing my order once I get back from the Middle East and looking forward to actually building my own car!

I'm 6-2 and 225. The fit is a little tight but not that bad. I just feel I'm a little close to the steering wheel, but otherwise it's fine. I have the standard vinyl low back seats that cam standard with the kit.

There are a lot of owner/builders your size that fit just fine, I believe the biggest problem is with there being enough room for your feet. I am sure that some will reply soon.

Welcome back to your dream !
You should fit fine !
I am 6' and (heavier than I was a few years ago (muscle now) at) 250 lbs. and fit comfortably, I am using the lowback seats now in my MKIII but a few years back I was using highbacks Cobra/Subesports seats in my Original MKI and was a little tighter.
MKIII:

You'll fit fine, many little changes make a huge difference! One example is the driver-side door-mod, check out my signature for the link.

The different seat types look like it made alot of difference, as did the door modification. Making my list!
Lucky, I am hanging at the Bra having 3 a day if that tells you anything. Keep your head down!

I mounted the vintage style low backs directly to the floor, (no seat track), and as far back as I could get them, and manage to fit fine. 6'3" 220lbs
Getting in is a matter of stepping in, and sliding down into the seat, while the legs slide in under the dash. I don't think I could sit down first, then swing my legs in..well maybe.. if I was double jointed..:p
