Hi, I am a Swedish car-enthusiaste with a few American cars in My garage. After getting screwed by criminals in a deal to buy a Superformance Cobra Replica in France I decided to buy one from a straight honest seller in US. The alternative buying a Cobra in US is favoured, as the Cobras on this side of the Atlantic either have the steering wheel on the wrong side or have engines with less power.
I would like to buy a FFR Cobra Replica or an Other as a rolling chassis with powertrain and an unfinished interior and an unpainted body.
The reason for an unfinished is the demands the finished car has to meet in order to be approved for registration in Sweden. The kit-car has to be built together by me or by the seller himself. The process of building the car has to be documented with photos and invoices from suppliers. The unfinished Cobra has to be imported as a kit not a car. After car has arrived in Sweden the status of the car and the final work on the car will be inspected by SFRA who finally will issue a report which is essential for the approval to get the Cobra registered in Sweden.

If You could document that You have built the Cobra with your own hands and have invoices from different suppliers You might sell your Cobra to me.

In order to quote a price I need some photos and a Specification.

Kind regards
Lennart Gutke

I was really disapointment that nobody has shown any interest selling his unfinished Cobra to me !!!
What could be the reason - fear of doing any business with foreigners ? Although being foreigner - I have 80 Ratings on ebay 100% satisfaktion and Americans taking care of collecting and shipping.
Anyhow, its over - I found a Rolling chassis in Sweden and parts are ordered from American suppliers.

Thanks

Most builders are not interested in selling their kits. If you want one, buy a new one from Factoty Five. Your eBay scores are meaningless

Most builders are not interested in selling their kits.

Not only that, but there are plenty of people here in the states that buy unfinished, semi finished, or even finished "problem child" finished builds :D
