Hey guys, I have had a MKIII kit sitting in my garage for a few years now and I am gearing up to have the project started this winter.

When the car is completed, is there supposed to be some form of paperwork or document from FFR? Certificate of origin? MSO? etc?
I cant seem to find anything pertaining to this in the boxes that came with the kit.

What did you guys use to register the vehicle?
Would the chassis also have a number to match the body?

My kit is a CDN kit if that matters?

If you are the original buyer, ffr might be able to send you a copy of the MSO that ships with the kit. I dont think they will send one if you arent the original owner.

FFR sends the MCO and a metal ID plate about a month after delivery of the kit. Look for a large envelope among the boxes.

I would contact FFR customer service (Jason) with your question.

The certificate of origin should show the chassis number; for a Mk3 roadster it will be something like "F5R100****RD". The number on the body itself (on the trunk opening lip) relates to mold sequence and has no correlation to the chassis number or certificate of origin.
