Mine is insured as a regular car through State Farm with the rest of my cars. No mileage or use restriction. Full coverage with a stated replacement value and it's about $700 a year.

I have mine with Robbin at American Modern, forum guy. 55 K replacement value, $480 per year here in Calif. Does have a mileage limit but that hasn't been a problem.

Hi,
I'm in B.C. Canada, don't come here for car stuff...........I have to insure with government insurance as a new car $1,500 a year and that's with my 43% good driver discount. Oh yeh, reg gas is $ 5.25 a U.S. gal and super is $ 5.85 , just about 6 bucks a gal:(

I could have cut my rate by half if I was ok with mileage or use restrictions but that doesn't work for me. With our climate here in San Diego I can drive the car anytime it's not raining and regularly do take it to work and other places. I have a very short commute of 4.5 miles but I will be putting close to 1000 miles on the car in the next few weeks alone.
