I have stayed at the Alexis Park every time I have gone out. It is right across from the hard rock so the shuttle busses bring you right to the show (you have to walk over to the Hard Rock) the rates are inexpensive, the rooms are large and clean. Lasty year it was 59.00 per night, stay two weekdays get the third free. Looks like they are running the same special this year.
Also, Hotwire has flights (not fun draining red-eyes) from 236.00 round trip. I am going on the Nov 4-7 flying out of Boston at 6:31 pm landing in LAS at 11:00. On the return flight, it is leaving at 1:29pm landing at 6:25 pm in Boston. Total charge is 257.00. pretty good deal I would say.
Figured I would just though it out there if it could help anyone save some $$$.

Now that sounds like a deal, I am paying around $800 for three nights and airfare from Toronto.
my plan to save money is not to go. I just don't think I will be in the market for 22" + rims in the near future...

Come on Mike, I can see your Challenger roll'n on some DUBs.
Unfortunately I think they only offer wheels for 1985 Buick regals. One day, yes one day... Right after I get my gold caps. Then I will be balling.

It is so much more then wheels. When I built the GTM I got so many free parts. I will get the same for the 818 this year. Not only is it a great time, it more then pays back with free parts, discounts and "dealer samples". If you have never gone, it is truly like Disney (on a speed pass) for a youngster. Very awe inspiring.
Went a couple times as a supplier to the industry. Wasn't impressed but that was 4-5 years ago.

How do you get admission? I thought it was for manufacturers only. It is definitely on my Bucket list to go.
thanks,
Nevin
You just need to be in the automotive industry or supply to a mfg. easy to get in.

There is also the Las Vegas Monorail that picks up behind the MGM Grand and has stops at the Sahara (APICS Show) and the Convention Center (SEMA Show).

I spent a bit more on airfare but I got nonstop both ways from KC
I'm across the street from SEMA at the LVH for two nights then down a couple blocks for the last two.
The first place I split with a friend the second place I got a bit cheaper than the Hilton but not near as cheap as yours so
I will keep that in mind if I go next year.
Still watching for a FF bar night etc.
