Well, I made it to inspection day!!!! This Wednesday.
I think I have everything in line for a smooth inspection, but does anyone have any "don't forget....." or Make sure to...." advise???
Any thoughts much appreciated!!!

Mine is the next day. Sept. 26th. Here in NJ they are looking for...
1) nothing hanging below H-frame chassis
2) brake fluid level light on dashboard
3) windshield wipers
4) heat shields on side pipes
5) 17" wheels
6) shift pattern on shifter ball or tranny tunnel
7) double master cylinder reservoir
8) dual throttle linkage spring
9) self cancelling turn signal
10) DOT approved lenses and windshield

I feel bad for you guys... Here in Michigan, they just check to make sure it's got lights and a gas pedal. (not really, but it is much more relaxed).

I am not anticipating it going bad, it's a non-doner build. I have been on the phone several times with the inspecting officer. He actually told me to call as much as needed to prepare properly, a very nice guy!

If you remember, after all of the excitement tomorrow, drop a line to say how it went. I'm excited, but nervous at the same time. The list for NJ is longer than what I posted but the more I typed the more depressing it got.

I did my inspection at the Troy OH station in July. It took all of 15 min. As long as nothing is stolen, you are good lol. They looked at the car but as far as I could tell the didn't check much on it. Seriously, all they checked was paper work and receipts.

Everything when well, no issues. Was in and out in about 40 minutes. Guys were friendly!
They checked:
Headlights - Hi and Low Beam
Brake Lights
Running Lights
Turn Signals
All dash indicators - Turn and Hi Beam
Emergency Brake
Horn
Licence Plate Light
Windshield Wiper - single side manual
All Receipts
Towed it there drove it home!!!!!! Was very nice to drive!!
