Just wondering what everyone did to attach the coyote to the engine hoist. It comes with those two hooks but once you put it in you wont be able to get the back on out. I was able to get it in pretty easy that way but couldn't get the back hook out because it was too close to the firewall. Any advice would be appreciated.

Jack,
I purchased a used Coyote engine transmission from a wrecked Mustang so I didn't get any hooks with it so I made my own out of some 3/8 in. aluminum plate I had lying around, on the passenger side I attached it to the exhaust header bolts, easy to remove with the engine in.

I put a bolt through a chain and bolted in the rear and side of the block using the existing holes. Towels went under the chain to protect the motor.
