I purchase a set of ffr 17" wheels. the rears are fine, the fronts however do not seat down on the hub if the knock off threaded insert is in the center of the wheel. if I remove the knock off threaded insert, the wheel will seat fine. please advise. SRP

Is the front hub from a Lincoln? (i.e. 5 lug Lincoln hub on a Fox spindle?) If so, the embossment on the hub sometimes doesn't clear the back side of the threaded stud that holds the spinner & lug cover on. It's really close, so some people have just put lug nuts on and tightened them down, only to find that it separates the threaded portion of the stud from the flange on the end of the stud. If you don't have enough clearance, consider removing material from the hub or modifying the threaded spinner stud so that it clears.
