View Full Version : Would an LS powered Challenge Series ever be considered?

I know there are strict rules on what type of engine and years that can be used for the current race series. Who legislates the series rules? And would an LS powered series ever be considered in addition to the current series? I see that the LS mounts are an option for the chassis, but obviously not legal in the series racing. I just think it would make the car more versatile outside of running in this series for those of us who would like to street drive it, drag race it and autocross it outside of the challenge series.

They would probably sanction a Coyote powered version first.

Ls will never happen in the challenge series.
but if you want it build it anyways, then run in TT.

An LS powered car would still qualify for Str3, St2, and St1 depending on how it was built.
