Left to Right: Dave Smith, Jeff Loeffler, Bill Loeffler, Jeff’s son, and FFR’s Dave Correia.

This past Saturday was a lot of fun for me. I got to deliver a brand-new GTM kit to Factory Five customer Jeff L. from New Jersey, and then a half hour later, we hosted the Viper Club of New England here at the factory for a tour.

Jeff’s dad Bill is building a Factory Five Type 65 Coupe! Jeff’s son is helping him with the build making this a three generation Factory Five effort!

We get a lot of questions about “what kind of trailer do I need to pick-up my kit?”… Jeff and his son showed up with this super heavy-duty goose-neck heavy equipment hauler!

After a quick tour of the plant, I met Jeff’s dad Bill who drove down from Maine to meet Jeff for the pick-up. We loaded up and another Factory Five GTM is born. Special thanks to Jeff and Bill Loeffler for the business and for their enthusiasm.

They even look fast on the back of a truck with no wheels.

Dave, I love these posts and the fact that the owner goes out to greet pickups is AWESOME. But, and this is only my opinion... you guys need to start only posting on this site. We need to get as many guys over here as possible. Keeping the content here makes it exclusive. We made the mistake of posting our build of the roadster on that other site and I wish I knew better back then. Now our coupe build is on this site... where it belongs!!! Keep up the great work there guys!

Congratulations Jeff! It's great to see ANOTHER multi-generational FFR family!

I hope you start a build thread here so we can follow along with your build. You have a real good source of tech support in your dad, but I don't have to tell you that!

Jeff-

Martin said it best--- that car looks smoking hot on the back of your trailer; it only gets better when you get wheels and an engine!! I can only imagine your excitement! Best of luck during your build, and please keep us posted!

Dave-

I look forward to seeing you in December for MY delivery and tour!! I can't tell you how excited I am!

Regards,

Steve
