My uprights are from a 2004 STI sedan. Front in no problem, but the back might be an issue. Seems the splines in the hub are bigger then the normal WRX. Anyone know where I can source parts for this so I can make it work with the FFR axles?
Thanks mike

I don't think its worth it, get some wrx knuckles it will be cheaper.

SVXs and STis have the larger hub spline, so at the minimum you will need oem CVs from one of those.

I think the SVX is your best bet as it used the R160 rear diff like the WRX so there's a good chance the axle shaft is the same spline/diameter and will work with the FFR supplied axles.

I can't promise you this will work but it's a start.

You'd need to buy hybird races. They're bigger on the outisde to fit the STI hubs but smaller on the inside to fit the WRX axles.

I've seen these too... Suberdave? These mate WRX axles with an STi diff. Kind of the opposite of what he's trying to do if I understand it right.

I tried to find a picture comparing the STi and SVX and WRX outer trilobe but couldn't really find one.

Either way I think you are still going to need the right sized outer CVs

Yes. A local guy got them for the 02 WRX drag car.

probably because he was using a R180 rear diff.

Driveshaftshop.com can probably make you a custom set too, if you send them the shaft length, (which im sure someone here can measure for you)

again I think its cheaper and easier to swap hubs.

All of dss subaru shafts are machined to order, it would be no thing to have them make a shaft with wrx inner and sti outter splines. They probably would make a part for the 818 if enough people wanted brembos...
