Ok so I spent all day setting up my dash and getting it wired in to the wiring harness.

I didn't find it to difficult and everything went smooth until I got to the Tachometer. The book doesn't give any instructions, it just says connect the harness wires to the Tach (same with the Speedometer). For the Speedometer I followed the colors on the instructions and it all made sense... dash lights into the lamp slot, ground into the ground, gauge feed into the 12v, and the green speed sensor into the Sig (guessing signal).

It all made sense until I got to the picture of the Tach and the reason is every color of the wire (in the intructions) until this one pic has been correct. The book shows two white lines (usually lamp) in the 12v, two ground lines in the ground, two brown lines (usually gauge feed) into the lamp, and on purple line (coil Tach) into the Sig. Well... all I have left over from the harness is dash light wire (white), ground wire (black), speed sensor wire (grey), and coil Tach (purple). This is how I plugged them in so could anyone tell me if this is right. Dash lights (white) into lamp, Ground (black) into ground, coil Tach (purple) inot 12v, and speed sensor (grey) into sig. I am a bit confused because there is no "power" going to it but I am sure it is getting it from somewhere else. I am horrible with electrical things so any guidance would be appreciated.

Ok next problem, as you can see in the picture above of my dash I have three red flip switches and no indicator lamps for my turn signals. I really like the look of a clean race style dash so my idea was/is to have these switches for my turn signals (the two outside ones, obviously the left outside would be left and the right outside would be right) and head lights (middle one) so I can see if they are still on or not. If the red switch is left in the up position then the signal/lights are on. The problem is the instructions are for a different switch that has three prongs (I am guessing the middle is neutral). The back of the red switches have only two prongs, one is for power and the other is for "load" which I am guessing is for ground. I am shooting from the hip on this one and plugged the signals (three lines, 1. front signal, 2. rear signal, 3. light indicator which I know I am not using but who knows down the road so I did it anyway) into the power and the grey (turn flasher FD, not sure what that means but its supposed to go into the middle prong on the original switch) into the "load". I then jumped the grey wire to the other switch negative and plugged the other signal lines into that swithc. My plan for hazards is to just turn both switches on... lol not sure if that would work either! Is that going to work and if not can someone point me in the right direction.

As far as the head light switch (the picture above in the middle with nothing hooked up). I don't really know what to do because the headlight switch provided is so different. Thinking of maybe just making the middle switch the low beams then an under the dash dimmer and high beams. I could really car less about high beams and dimmer to tell you the truth but oh well.

So ANY advice would be welcomed and please remember... I am not that smart when it comes to electrical so if you could teach it to me barney style that would be fantastic!

That's going to be awkward using the two outside switches for signals. Why not put a on/off/on toggle on the dash, left of the steering wheel so you can toggle with your left hand while its still on the wheel. It will be out of the way, hardly noticeable, and very ergonomic. I really like you dash and gauges. Any other red in the car?

I fit the dash already and it wont be any worse than changing the radio station on the stereo in the car.

Yeah red is going to be my accents with the paint charcoal with black racing strips. All the chrome will be black as well. The cockpit engine and brakes will have red accents.
