First post on the Forum, but have been following for a long time. I am scheduled to receive my 818S in the December time frame and am in the process of refreshing my 2006 WRX engine. Did I mention that I am a first time builder and also new to the Subaru engines? I am really enjoying the process and am envious of the talent and speed that I see on this site.
I purchased a Grimmspeed TGV delete manifold and am now reassembling the assembly. My question is with the fit of the stock fuel injectors. The bore on the manifold appears to be approx. 0.667" with the lower seal on the injector measuring 0.644". I was expecting an interference. The fit feels loose and I don't see how this will hold boost without leaking. I searched NASOIC and came up empty. I am sure that it is something simple. Any guidance would be appreciated.
