He gets busy with family sometimes (no issue with that). Seems he gets a backlog, then pushes them out fast. I waited about 6-8 weeks for mine, but still am not ready for them. Keep e-mailing every few days.

How much does those air ducts actually work? I am putting a coyote in mine and I know it’s going to be hot but do the ducts help out that much? Seems like it would just circulate just more hot air into your cockpit. Maybe I am wrong.

The ducts pull air from outside of the engine compartment using a boot that fits over the openings near the large oval in the front of the car. It then uses a fan to blow the air into the foot boxes. There are blast gates to close off the flow if you want. A great product especially in hot climates.

I got mine a couple weeks ago. He has had family time and catching up.

2123621237They do work; keeps your feet comfortable. To keep your foot boxes from cooking, and if you don't mind the look, line the engine bay side of cockpit aluminum with Cool-It-Thermotec's adhesive-backed aluminized heat barrier (Summit Racing). Had it in my MK II for 9 years and no engine-related heat issues at all. Combined with Earl's vents, its a winning combination. In the pics, the barrier is yet to be applied to the firewall.

Also do the engine side of the trans tunnel.
