Body install Tips

Hello Roadsters, I am planning on installing the body this weekend. Does anyone have any tips that will make the install easier?

Also, I've hear good and bad things about the electrical connectors for the lights. Any advice?

2 people can do it with the brace installed. 4 is better. front goes on first. hold the back way up and get the front lined up. Then lower the back until its down on the rubber weather stripping on the trunk. If its a mark 4 then you need to pull the sides of the body out to get it under the frame.

Thank you. I looked at the connectors and they look similar to what comes in the kit.

Yes, except the ones in the kit still trap the lights in the body. eaach of the four corners share a plug between the two lights. If you need to remove a light you will need to cut the wires or disassemble the connector.
