Well just found out I will be deploying overseas within the next year... I have officially just kicked my build into high gear. I will be ordering the rest of my parts (drivetrain) today through summit and American Muscle because they offer free shipping and military discount. I have picked all the parts for the 5.0 coyote and TKO 600 that I need but still undecided about which clutch to go with. I am looking at the Centerforce dual friction or the SPECs II or III. Any advice before I order thousands of dollars worth of joy!?!?!?!

Jack, I have been running a SPEC II for the last 8 years or so, it replaced a RAM heavy duty. If you are planning any track use the SPEC would be my recommendation, it has worked really well for me for Auto X and Drag Racing. If you are planning a cruiser then the Centerforce will give you a lighter pedal than the SPEC with a slightly smoother engagement. I have been using the SPEC with an aluminum flywheel and don't find it hard to drive or grabby at all.

Thank you for your service, please be safe.

From a fellow military man, stay safe. Good luck on your build. If you get around Fort Huachuca, I would love to see it.

I've run Centerforce Type I and II clutches in all of my builds and also on my Jeep. Never had a problem with any of them, nice light pedal and holds like a GI-JOE with Kung-Fu grip. Sorry I can't speak for any of the others, found something that worked and stuck with it.
- Stay safe on your deployment and hurry home.
