I guess I can start one also lol.

Here's the plan. 302 with afr 165 heads, trick flow stg 2 cam, gt40 tubular intake with supporting intake and fuel system. T5 tranny from a 96 with shortener input shift. 8.8 4 kink with, 3.55 gears. Haven't decided on color but leaning to solid black right now. Harnesses will be painless for both electrical and EFI. Computer has quarterhorse emulator and egr input is replaced with a innovative products wideband 02 and tuner pro changes that into afr for me. Eventually it will get team 3 wheels but have not decided if I will run 9.5 or 10.5 rears yet.

I am logging my hours, not exactly but close.

If I should put something in build thread I miss please let me know. Feel free to critique and give ideas Or correct if you see something wrong. That's why I started this thread. Oh and thanks for looking!

This week's progress. Received Tuesday late. Unloaded and body off Wednesday am. Inventoried parts Wednesday am and pulled all aluminum same day. Started assembly Wednesday afternoon. 6 hours this week yielded....

Well, absolutely nothing accomplished on building this week. Overtime killed it. I did get my rear end rebuilt (3.08 swapped to 3.55 gears, all new seals and all new bearings and races) and got it cleaned up and painted. Hopefully my one day of work this week will result in it being installed. Assuming I can get my Springs from the guy that's got them lol

Long time, no update. Long time no work lol. Life got in the way. And will continue to do so. Wife decided she don't love me no more. But she left my little girl, so I'm mostly Ok. She gets visitation. Also she don't want my money or anything so all in all I'm getting off lucky if you call it that. Enough whining!

Finally got the rear end rebuilt, new gears, bushings, bearings, races and seals. Oh and traction lock discs also. Got it cleaned up, painted and installed. New shocks too. Here she is! Fwiw, the shocks needed Spacers (made from a mag light aa light housing, and the bolts they sent wasn't long enough. And very tight fit in shocks designed for a metric bolt. Personally that could have been designed a little better. But she's in!

Passenger footwell and floor finished. FFR manual rack should be here Friday. If it gets here early enough, I'll get the steering finished up.

Big update since last one.

Passenger compartment aluminum nearly complete. Save drivers footbox. Fuel tank in, lines ran. Still have to make final bend at front and cut to meet factory hard lines once I see where it'll fall.

Brake lines all done. Using sn95 master cylinder and brakes. Have a line lock and adjustable prop valve installed. Made my own 4 AN braided stainless soft lines (using metric banjos and to 3/16 tube etc). I really like how that came out. I gotta redo the last 8" stuck of tubing to rear end. I don't like it hanging out with no support. Don't want any flex failures of brake tubing.

And, mounted my fuse box (summit 18 circuit harness) and began running wires. Rear ones done, rest, I'll get to later.

SVTfreak,
You really are steaming ahead!
Clearance looks real tight to the accelerator pedal - or is it the camera angle?

Very sorry to hear about your marriage. I hope you two can work it out so your daughter isn't harmed too much. The only recommendation I have is to ditch the mustang gas pedal. The leverage ratios are wrong in an FFR and it is way too close to being an on/off switch. this is the most popular by far replacement

Thanks. Yall. Chop, it's camera angle, and it's at closest point now. It'll. Be lower when done and clearance gets farther as it does down.

Craig, I didn't mind it on my. Mk2 I built. I'll consider that though. Thanks.
