Frame is powder coated but looks like more than just coating thickness. Got the two tops on one side. Can't get bottoms on that side or either tops or bottoms on other side. I can easily shave the bushing but wanted input first. Anyone seen or know why? Yes I have the . 43 ones on bottom and .675 ones on top.

Things where going so well today until that lol

Because its a car you build yourself, some parts need to be 'massaged' to fit. If they were too short, you couldnt stretch them, but if a bit too long, easy to trim to the correct length.

What's the parts cell number so I can message them to fit? *grin*. I know what ya mean. We can blame autocorrect lol.

It's been a long time but I seem to remember having to trim them on the mk2 I built in 03 also. I definite recall having to shave the spindles where the adapter slips on. Ain't got that far yet haha.
If no one says otherwise, I'll be shaving them in the morning to finish up shocks and pretty much all I can do for awhile due to work.

When I installed the shocks I had to shave off a little on the bushings to get all to fit. I tried to make sure that the bushings were about the same on both sides of the shock attachment points, but I think the main thing is to have a snug fit so there is not a lot if horizontal movement if any. Not too tight but not too loose.
