I've got a wideband 02 sensor going to go into mine. It has a standard small gauge display that goes with it. I have Ffr smith's replicas. I thought about ditching the clock and pitting the display there but I kinda like the clock. And I would look at it more lol. After some thought, I think I may not want the wideband display in dash. But it has to be there as it feed the eec input that I stole for a/f data logging.

My first thought is a flip down panel that stays hidden unless I flip it down that has that gauge, computer hookup for wideband, computer hookup for quarterhorse and reset button and light for wideband. Anyone else have any idea that might make it look good, or disappear yet be see able if needed?

Btw, it's a digital lcd read out. Lights up blue. Really don't think it'll look good with the smith's style gauges.

If it is something you don't need to see while driving, if you installed a glove box it could fit neatly in the back. I don't know if that is possible with the PCM often mounted in that area. I wouldn't have room myself but some have mounted the PCM to be out of the way. It would be good if you had a passenger doing the diagnosis for you while you drove. Another possibility is to fab a dash extension between the dash and trans tunnel. That could have a door over it but being separate from the dash setup might look pretty good showing all the time (still a little away from the vintage gauges). WEK.

Do you have any pics of the equipment?

No pics. But I. Love the below the dash idea.

Heater and pcm gotta go so Prolly no glove box. Yes, passenger or Dyno is when it's watched if at all. I may just hide it out of sight and have a small panel with plug in and button for it.

I like your hinged panel idea. Maybe three inches high by eight wide on a hinge so it folds down below the center of the dash. Or folds up and forward so you don't see it. Only problem might be the depth of the digi readout and whether it would interfere w/ the bottom of the regular gauges when folded up.

It's quite thin. Only need about 3/4" behind panel for it. Thanks yall
