Anybody have a preference between the two Motor Mounts ? I want to replace the mounts in Wastehaulers MK III . It has a World Products 427 (351 stroked).
The engine had run hot for a long time and the Energy mounts have showed signs of melting from the header heat.
I did a search and didnt find any info.

Prothane is about 1/2" taller than the energy mounts. Go with the energy.

Speaking of Energy Suspension and polyurethane mounts, does anybody ever use that Daystar grease that supposed to be "especially formulated for polyurethane" It's priced at around $16.00 / 3oz tube. Just wondering if it's worth it or do you just use regular grease?

What Gordon said, I had some clearance issues with the original oil pan on my 408W and tried the Prothane to lift it a bit higher. It worked, but on the 351 block I then had issues with the body cut outs as well as clearing the steering shaft. The ES mounts went back in and I changed the oil pan to a lower one.

ES makes swaybar mounts and control arm bushings which need to be greased.

What application do you specify when searching/ordering mounts? Do you specify an FFR car, AC, Mustang donor year or engine type?
