I now have almost 2.000 road miles on my GTM. It runs perfectly, except for an annoying increasingly massive clutch shudder. The whole body shakes when I engage the clutch. I read about a change in the pilot bearing (which my GTM #6 clearly did not get). Anyone else having this problem? Is the new pilot bearing a standard bearing, which can be obtained outside from the U.S?

Thanks for any insights!

Greetings from Austria!

Its been a long time, but I think that car did get the updated throwout bearing. Either way, not sure that would cause the problem you are having.

Mike, thanks for your reply! Nice to hear from you again! You write about the throwout bearing, but I mean the pilot bearing.
If the pilot bearing is the updated one, then the cause of the clutch shudder is appearantly something different.
