Throttle linkage set up

Hello Roadsters, I am working on my throttle linkage set up. I have a QF 650 cfm with the linkage on the Left Side of the motor. I have the standard Factory Five throttle cable. However it appears to not work with this billet throttel cable bracket from summit racing.

I don't want to purchase a new cable unless I absolutely have to have it.

Any suggestions? 20745

I have a different bracket, but it required a Ford cable adapter. You probably need one too.

From the photo, that looks like a Trick-Flow bracket. If so you will need part number TFS-20000-F for the Ford style bracket. Summit has them for $19.97. If it is another brand, you probably need the same thing just for that brand.
