window frame question

Hi guys I'm working on installing my side window frames and have a question. When you bolt the frame to the door should there be some weather strip between the frame and the edge of the door it sits against? It seems like there should be but the manual isn't very clear and I haven't found a good picture on a finished coupe to verify.

I used a piece of windshield weather strip. It is "h" shaped so it goes on the edge of the door and covers the gap.

although I ended up not running windows, I am set up to attach them if need be in a few minutes. I used some of the foam thin adhesive strip and attached it to the frame itself.

I used the u shaped rubber channel that lines the inside of the window frames, pushed it onto the door edge and installed the frame up against it......nice and clean.
