Calling Coyote experts

I have just over 2000m on my roadster and just changed the oil (recommended oil used).

For my next oil change I am considering synthetic but I would like to confirm this will not harm the engine. Can any of the Coyote experts let me know if synthetic oil can be used given the friction benefits?

Thanks in advance

According to the service manual for a 2012 Mustang with the Coyote engine, they recommend Motorcraft® SAE 5W-50 Full Synthetic Motor Oil XO-5W50-QGT. Warranty on new Ford cars (my wife's 2012 at least) demands the use of a Motorcraft filter ONLY due to the back-flow valve in it (they are getting serious about this too), but they say nothing about using different oil. I'm no expert, but since they recommend sythetic oil, I would say you're good to go.

I have a 2012 BOSS 302 and my owners manual says "Motocraft SAE 5W-50 Full Synthetic" only. This is what the factory put in originally.
