Another Terminator is now officially alive and running. After sitting for over 4 years during my long build, I was surprised how easy it came back to life.

I had a couple of fuel leaks I realized after turning it off and quickly fixed. :( The tach is a little jumpy from zero to 1k, will need to look into that one. Everything else looks good so far. Didn't have much more time to fuse with it today. Daughter's swim meet comes first.

I need to thank Sergio for being a trail blazer on this engine combo, if it wasn't for his well documented build, I would not have attempted this engine. Another shout out for Art at The WireDiet, as I'm positive there would have been a different outcome if I had done the diet myself and added another year to the project.:) Thanks guys and all of you on here and the other vendors that helped along the way.

I have that same smile I had when I picked up the kit.

Here is the video, filming by my 5 year old, so you can see his distraction at the end.

Enjoy.

That is an excellent first start! I love hearing your son's approval and telling you "that's good Dad". Brought a smile to my face this morning.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I got it out for a gocart the following day. Felt like Nascar in the Cul de sac. Still need to work out a couple of codes for the fuel level sender and the Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor. I will post a vid soon.

Yunkj17, I started a build thread on Sergio's site, although I have not been very good about updating it. http://venomxs.com/index.php?view=category&id=57%3Achris-medlicott&option=com_content&Itemid=57 There are tons of pics on my photobucket. Sergio did a great job of providing a platform for how everthing works, although I made many changes to fit my build. Any questions, let me know and I will be happy to help out. Good luck with your build.

Finally got the video of the first go-cart and second loaded up. I'm at the top of a cul-de-sac so I can't really take it for a spin. See other post on F.O.R.D. (other forum) to see what happened when I did. First gocart was at night, as you can see the neighbor hear and ran over wine in hand with his friend.

What a great feeling to get to this point.

Seems the codes went away once I put more fuel in it. Now just need to figure out my idiot lights and then I can button up the harness.
