In a recent post Chad asked for the acronyms used in this Subie World. I've figured out a few and hopefully others can add to this and maybe it will become a sticky:

BOV = blow off valve
BPV = bypass valve
TMIC = top mounted intercooler
FMIC = front mounted intercooler
AVCS = active valve control system
TGV = tumble generator valve
BPV = basic performance upgrade
CEL = check engine light

Please copy this, add some more and repost. It'll help us V8 guys learn to read Subie.

BOV = blow off valve
BPV = bypass valve
TMIC = top mounted intercooler
FMIC = front mounted intercooler
AVCS = active valve control system
TGV = tumble generator valve
BPV = bypass valve (recirculation valve)
CEL = check engine light
Stage 1 = stock with a tune
Stage 2 = at least a downpipe and a tune

fixed BPV and added stage 1 and stage 2

never used BPV as basic performance upgrade before.

MAP = manifold air pressure sensor
AWIC = Air to water Intercooler

I'm sure i'll think of others, but right now i can't really. Usually I just think in the acronyms and think nothing of it.
