I ordered my engine from engine factory and for some reason thought the oil filter would not need to be relocated.
I am installing my engine today and was wondering if I am mistaken.
Does the oil filter need to be relocated for all engines?
Thanks

If you are using 4 into 4 headers then no. If you are using cats or J pipes you can buy a 90 degree filter adapter. They were used on the Ford Explorer 302s

Breeze carries them.

I did not need to relocate the oil filter on my Engine Factory 302.

I'm using a stock 302 that's been carbed. I installed the oil filter on the X-member.
