We are elbows deep in our build...and the money has been flying out of my wallet at an alarming pace.

Our budget on this build is only allowing for a pretty much stock 5.0L with factory EFI.

I am thinking of either polishing the stock upper intake and valve covers, or painting them.

To help inspire me, I was wondering if any of you can post me pictures of your nicely dressed out stock 5.0L engine with the stock upper intake and valve covers.

Thanks for any input.

Here is one that I built over the winter for a friend's roadster: Externally stock appearing with the exception of a set of CSR Performance pulleys and brackets:

And here it is in the chassis:

Block, front cover etc. painted black, intake and valve covers done with "cast coat aluminum". Externally stock with the exception of intake piping and a set of CFR Performance pulleys and brackets.

This one has different heads and valve covers but other than that I think it is a "stock" Cobra mustang 5.0. Love those Cobra intakes! See ya. WEK.

Jeff, What brand paint and primer do you use? Thanks, Harold
