So this may be well covered in one of the other FFR forums, but is anyone familiar with the hurdles to registering an 818, specifically in MA? My understanding is kit car rules in MA changed a few years ago and became much more difficult to work with.
Anyone have first hand experience or a good resource for specifics?

I have the same question for California. With the Project 818, how do you register the car? Subaru??? What???

The SEMA page has in the past proven wildly inaccurate. Even if it has improved with age, one would be wise to review the laws and regulations of one's own state and to speak with someone in authority before proceeding too far with any kit or custom build.
