I have no idea why this is happening. I have a RAM clutch and the clutch alignment tool is loose when I insert into the pilot bearing. Can anyone help?

Just wrap some thin tape arond the snout of the tool, one wrap at a time, until it fits fairly tight. It's worked for me 4 times.

I was thinking that, but wasn't sure....thanks for the help
