Since my honesty about what I'm working on seemed to rub some people the wrong way, I'm going to keep this thread to a simple tech question. Can anyone identify WHO MADE these components? It's definitely manufactured, the wiring on the relays is way too nice to be home-cooked... Also, any ideas on what the potentiometer (thats a dial next to my thumb) is for?

I know this stuff has something to do with the turn signals on the Coupe, but there are no identifying marks anywhere. There is also what looks like a micro toggle switch wired into this circuit, but it's broken and not labeled in any way. I'm looking for a schematic so I can replace the switch and wire it into the new power distribution circuit.
Thanks in advance.

Ray,
I'm not familiar with what your working on but would hazard a guess that the potentiometer is possibly a temp control (thermostat) for air conditioning?? The picture is a bit blury, what does the writing say above the potentiometer?
Hope that helps

From left to right: Output A_____Com_____Output B.
It's definitely not the A/C thermostat. That was buried elsewhere in the rat's nest.... The pot is wired into the trigger side of the relay bank. The relays trigger in pairs, and the wiring from the brake light switch is tied into it as well; which made me think turn signals. There is no typical column mounted turn signal switch, so I assume this setup is designed to prevent feedback when the brake is applied. I'm hoping it's something that may be common to these cars so I can find out where to get a wiring diagram for it...

FYI, this is what I am working on improving...

Man thats horrible. Glad I take so much time to properly wire every car I build. Here is what the wiring in the last Coupe I built looks like This is an EFI car too.

Ask this guy over on FFcars.

It looks like the turn signal brake mod I did for my LED taillights. COM is the input to the relay to be switched, A+B are probably normally closed and normally open sides of the relay.

Any chance you might pass on my email to him, or get his for me? supermod84@yahoo.com. I'm not a member over there and probably wont join just for that. Thanks in advance.

Nice. I wish I had the budget time to rip everything out and get that kind of result. I think these cars deserve it.

Michael, would you happen to be familiar with that relay and switch setup in post #1? Upon further research, I think it's a sequential flash setup for the twin lights at each corner of the car. Still haven't found out who built it.

I have not seen that setup. Must be custom made.
