I am attempting to install rear disc brakes from a 1994 V6 Mustang on my roadster.

I thought it would be a straightforward swap using the caliper brackets, calipers, and rotors from a 94 mustang, along with 2 left axles from a ranger.

Something is not right. The Flange for the axle does not line up with the bracket as show in my picture below.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I forgot to mention in my post above...the rotor does not line up with the center of the bracket...when it is installed on the axle flange, it is too far in, or the bracket is too far out.

The bracket aligns with the rotor, not the axle flange. The rotor is off set.
I see you knew that. The axle length on the '94' is longer than on a 'fox body' style. The '94' had tone rings the earlier cars did not.

Also, I measured the ranger axles, they measure 29 3/16" to the face of the flange and 28 3/4" to the inside of the flange.

Rich, I am aware of that...it seams like I would need a rotor that has less offset so it will line up with the bracket.

You will need an adapter for the caliper bracket.

Also, aware of the 94's having longer axles....that is why the Ranger driver's side (or Aerostar pass side) axles are used.

That's what I figured. Any suggestions on where I can get the adapters?

Which bracket is best...North Race Cars or Forte's?

They're probably the same. North Race Cars sells them to a lot of different vendors. I bought mine from NRC and it came with all the hardware I needed to complete the job. Plus, if you have questions Richard is very helpful.

You've only done half of the conversion to going back to "Fox width" with the Ranger axles. You need to move the caliper brackets inboard to match the shorter axles. As already stated above, the NRC kit or equivalent is your bolt-on fix for this issue.

Just ordered my brackets from North Race Cars. Thanks for the help!
