I know Jim and the guys in engineering are summarizing the wind tunnel results, but I had a bunch of photos and video clips so I put them together in a video just for fun.

It's amazing how much time and effort are being put in to determine this cars relationship to the OEM market. I mean this won't be compared to other kit cars out there...it will simply be put up against other cars which is amazing. Well done FFR. Now put a bulletproof tranny in that 818R and go win UTCC!

In some ways, this is more thorough than OEMs; I'm reminded of the 1st gen Audi TT debacle (http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/we-take-audis-tamed-tt-
for-a-spin-first-drive-review):
There appeared to be a problem for Audi and its hot TT, as evidenced by a troubling number of high-profile, high-speed crashes, most of them in Europe, where speed limits are more theoretical.
...
More obviously, all TTs get a small rear spoiler mounted to the decklid in a move aimed at reducing lift on the rear axle at high speeds. The TT has 148 pounds of lift at the rear axle at 125 mph without the spoiler, but only a 53-pound lift when the spoiler is fitted.
Audi didn't address the TT's rear lift until drivers were dying on the Autobahn. I appreciate FFR's attention to detail in providing us a safe balanced package out of the gate.

IIRC, don't they already have a bulletproof tranny design in house? It just needs more appropriate gear ratios and a new bellhousing.

That rear diffuser looks great and performs well. no vortices from the trailing edge. Impressive!
