Kevin Byrd and Willie B from “Two Guys Garage” are coming to the Factory Five Build School this September 27, 28, and 29 and we are inviting students to participate in this special class! So, if you’ve been thinking about attending the Factory Five Build School, this might be a fun opportunity to learn how to build your own Factory Five Mk4 Roadster and get a chance to be on “Two Guys Garage” (students of the September 27-29 class WILL be on “Two Guys Garage”).

Students will be selected first come, first served and must sign an appearance release. Also, please note that while the build school instructions and course will be taught at this special class, the filming requirements MAY result in a class instruction that is at a slower pace than a normal class.

If you would like to sign-up for the class, click here to register (http://www.mcc.edu/factoryfive/f5_reg.shtml). Build school classes are taught every month, so make sure to register for the September 27-29 Mk4 Roadster class. You must complete the registration form, sign it, and fax it in to qualify. Class size is limited to 15 students and Kevin and Willie will be enrolled as students leaving 13 spaces available. Good luck and we hope to see you on this special “Two Guys Garage” Factory Five Build School episode!

I was scheduled and had paid to take the Build School class the weekend before (Sept 20th-22nd), and the only one scheduled at that moment. The Two Guys show wanted to tape the following weekend, so the school called last week and canceled my class in favor of the Two Guys show. Bummer. I understand the whole "we reserve the right to cancel classes" and the lure of the publicity the show would give the school, and they suggested I reschedule for the 27th-29th class (which I can't do), but bummer. Kinda disillusioned. Looks like my FFR roadster order and build is pushed back again.

If it will be anything like my build school the instructors may have to tone down some of their comments

I signed up for the build class a couple days ago. I've been lurking around F5 for a long time and figured it was time to stop sitting in the shadows.

Carlberry,
It's not a bad idea to order the car before you go to the class. It's what I did. Since I got my car last month, I've been figuring out the build without the class. But, I've been able to see first hand what I need to ask questions on when I do go to the build school in August (stuff I didn't even think about when looking through the manuals and forums before getting the car). Sorry to hear about the inconvenience, but I wanted to pass along that my experience without the class so far with my build is working out ok. Just my two cents...either way, good luck.

Well, after making A LOT of changes to work and family schedules, I'm now booked for the October build school. I'm back on track, only a month behind.
