I heard it will be alot easier for me if I get rid of the master cyliders that come with the kit. How true is that? If you did what did you put in its place and why.

Sorry buddy, you're going to have to be more specific. Why are you replacing it, are you going to power brakes?

Didn't you get the complete kit? If you did that should have some sort of Wilwood pedal set and bracket, I think? Why would you not want that system? It gives you all kinds of adaptability. If you decide to change to hydraulic later for instance, you just have to add another MC and slave and you are good to go. The dual system also give you a built in bias control. If you have an older unit maybe it's one that was having some issues. If so, that should be upgraded by FFR. In other words, there was a fix for it. Now if you are contemplating PB then that would be a deal breaker. But if so you can always sell off the ones you have. I have the Wilwood pedals and MCs and love them. Good luck, WEK.

thanks guys, the guy that told me said he was having problems setting the bias, so I will just see what happens. He got the full kit too.

You can get a dash mounted bias control for you system that will allow you to change on the fly. It isn't that expensive either. There are also several posts about the bias control. You can start out with a little favoring the front MC. If you want to check how you did you can have someone apply pressure on the pedal and you can check the clamping force of each corner with a torque wrench. That way you can equilibrate the calipers before you even have it on the ground. Nobody said it was going to be easy. WEK.

We used the wildwood setup with the kit and are very pleased. Balance bar was not a big issue at all. Good luck!

Like QSL I have the Wilwood setup and then followed the instructions I received from the internet to adjust the bias. My roadster stops on a dime.
