Thought it was kinda cool, 31 hotrod / road-racer.
I liked it, but some wire wheels would really look good on there.

The 1931 Ford roadster body is channeled onto a DeSoto Airflow chassis with 1932 Ford cross members. Suspension is Model A up front and 1939 Ford at the rear, while brakes are 1930-1940 Ford units with Buick drums. The dashboard fascia is from an old Auburn, the front fenders are Ford spare tire covers, and the radiator cover is from a 1938 LaSalle. It is therefore quite the amalgamation, and one that came together quite nicely. The Ingalls Special reportedly had several engines over the years, but it currently sports a Ford Flathead mated to a 1939 Ford 3-speed.

I like the way it looks now, like a Salt Flat racer. Thanks for posting.

Great looking ride with a very mean stance! I agree on the wire wheels...

Must be a kick in the pants to drive. Thanks for sharing!

That looks like something you could take to Bonneville. I'd love to drive it with an overdrive gear. Very elegant design considering the components. Love it! WEK.
