How big is big enough for a big block expansion tank? Is a Canton 2 quart big enough for autocrossing and some track time? What thermostat temp are you running? I was running the FFR 0.82 quart tank and it was not big enough. Trying to go on the cheap I bought another 1 quart tank and tied them in parallel. Not happy with too much "plumbing" and was thinking about going to one tank.

canton 2qt overflo, with the dedenbear expansion tank, i found that the 185* or was it the 180* worked better for my engine, it ran it around 200plus degrees

Thanks Guys. I ended up keeping the two smaller expansion tanks plumbed in parallel. The total 1.82 quarts capacity is working well with no puking on the floor.
