Before I drill holes in my body and mount the FFR side mirror that came with my base kit, I would like to have a spare sitting on the shelf. Many years ago I had mounted a mirror on my MGB that got broke in a parking lot. When I tried to get a replacement, they were no longer available. So I thought it would be a good idea to have an exact spare "just in case". If you have one you aren't going to use, send me a PM.
Although I realize that many owners decide not to use the FFR side mirror, my car is a street version and I like how it looks.
Oddly, I checked all of the reference books I have and in most cases the cars (street versions) didn't have any type of side mirror. I guess back then, it was offered only as an option.
