Hi guys. Are most of you installing the FFR supplied headliner? Is there any real benefit to it? I am thinking of just painting the inside of the roof to gain as much clearance for my head.

Dont have my coupe yet but from what I've seen the FFR headliner looks rather drab. I think finishing the interior roof and painting it like the exterior would look ok but still not very finished. I'm thinking it would be easy to make my own liner or cheap enough to have a shop make one that is padded and fits tight. Still open to ideas on my build plan to keep a race car appearance yet come across with a little factory finish. I dont think going without it is going to make any major difference in head room unless you're close as is.

Once I get done squaring the mechanicals away, my wife will be doing a full interior in the coupe. It might be a couple of months, but she will have the pattern for a headliner if anyone is interested.

She can ship anywhere. Now that I'm re-wiring the car too, it might be a little longer before she gets her hands on it...
