Here is a treat!

I was at work today and Julie decided to come in too! Anyway, I was sitting in my office when I hear a roar. I looked out the window and saw a Superformance Coupe pull into our parking lot!! I grabbed Julie and went out to check the beast. After drooling over it, we went inside my shop and I asked around for the owner. We found him and he was a really cool guy. It was apparent to him fast that we were cobra/coupe nuts. Turns out he is an installer for Superformance and other types of kits as well. He is also only a couple miles from our shop and he invited us over. So after lunch Julie and I jumped into the truck and shot over there for what was a REAL treat!!!

He had an aluminum body Superformance coupe!!!!! WHOA!!!!!!!!!!! Blue one on the lift in the pics... enjoy!

Thanks for posting this, they look great. Now it is time to get home and work on Julies, I am sure that she is more motivated now.

Yea, we are both really pumped now. Plus we stole some good ideas. I really wish we could make a liner for the inside of the hood like they do. It really cleans it up.

Huh...didn't know Superformance made aluminum bodied cars. I don't think I want to know how much they charge for one of those, but pretty cool anyway.

They really don't. It was a special order. They sourced out the body and supplied the car as a roller as usual. The body work was amazing!!!!

I think the Dark blue cobra there is in for a new clutch slave cylinder. lost 2 of the internal slaves in a short period and is converting over to an external slave. Lost slave on Cobra run in Sierra's.. Frank was there as well.

I love the FFR but damn Brock did an amazing job refining the car for the SPF cars. Thanks for the pics

Not wanting to Hi-jac the thread but . . . Peter Brock lives in Vegas now and we (I) get to see his car almost every week. There are two (sometimes 3) Coupe's that show up for Cars & Coffee Saturday mornings in Vegas . . . not so much now though, it's 116° here.

Doc

Mike and Julie, Stop sight-seeing and go work on "Coupey".

Very cool resource close to your office - keep the connection, I am sure there would be more ideas for the rest of us!

Not to worry Mike. Pete makes it down our way quite often. Many of us have met him and as Doc eludes, he is very approachable and down to Earth. He even asked to borrow my Sharpie at AHA last year so he could autograph the back of Karen's Coupe. I still have the Sharpie, $10,000 and it's all yours.
