retro fit of glass rear window

I bought a completed '65 coupe and it came with the uninstalled glass rear window kit . I was assuming this was a bolt-in replacement, but now I am learning this kit requires modification of the rear window opening. Does this mean I have to deal with fiberglass fabrication and repainting? Wow, that really sucks! Paint matching can be a *****! Just ask me about paint matching on a restored 1930 Ford Model A Deluxe Coupe that was finished in Andalusite Blue with French Gray pinstripe.

Depending on the original body...grey, black or red....the glass will fit differently and will need varying degrees of body work in order to get a perfect fit. Some have been able to get an acceptable fit without having to redo the body.
