Are thermoform panels 1/3 the mass(weight) of fiberglass panels? This would be a good goal for a gen 2 body(now the total is 808?) but I would say the the kit wont be 10k unless economy of scale.
Take saturn(correct me if I'm wrong): steel; hood, roof, truck - urethane; front/rear fascia - thermoform; fender, door(s), quarter. 3 different materials manufactured and keeping it one color(no paint) is costly. I have an appreciation for what FFR has accomplished with all fiberglass; its amazing!
Ok lets say all thermoform body plus 15 gal. gas; would that total 818? Thanks
